Hello,
Am in the process of getting nomination and ultimately get PR. Married wt 2 kids, have a stable job back in my home country but as the Principal applicant, is it possible that my family alone fulfill the residency requirement while I shuttle in and out of the country and my wife file for me later after fulfilling the residency requirement.
Thanks for your help
OP should keep in mind shuttling in and out is fine but in the first 5 years after landing they must accumulate a minimum of 730 days in the country so with some many in/outs critical they keep their own meticulous records of entry/exits and not just rely on any official sources. Also for info the day OP leaves and the day OP returns to country are counted as days in Canada.

You should be aware that by having your family live here, you will be considered a tax resident and will have to pay Canadian taxes on your income in your home country.
