I want to organize our application in such a way that there is two parts, in separate envelopes. The application to sponsor and the application for PR.
I am thinking because they are separated that I could use a check list in the sponsor package and another check list in the principal applicant package.
Has anyone done this before? Or should I just put the one check list for the entire application and put into one of the envelopes?
I don't see a problem with putting the 2 parts of the application in separate envelopes but I would not use 2 separate Document Checklists. Too confusing. What if they don't see one and think you've only submitted part of the required documents? I would avoid any confusion and just use one.
I used the Appendix A checklist for the sponsored person's package and the Overall Document Checklist for the Sponsor's package. I cross-referenced them. Not sure if this was right, but it made the most sense to me
we did it exactly the way you say.
we had two separate check-lists as for the sponsored person the list of paperwork was different than for sponsor and in that check-list they also mentioned that the checklist must be included into application.
good luck!
