I am basically from India and want to apply for PR under express entry system. Can I use my HSC (class 12th - Higher Secondary Certificate) transcript as post secondary credential ? Also will WES asses HSC transcript ?
High school is considered as secondary education; CIC only demands ECA of post secondary qualifications (If they are attained outside Canada) ; Yes indeed WES does assess High school certificates for equivalency purposes but its only for the purpose of getting admission at Undergrad Schools in Canada (Some universities do require high school equivalencies) ; CIC has no such obligation for PR purpose, so its no problem even if you don't make it assessed
Thanks for the reply. As far as I know high school (class 10th) is S.S.C (secondary school certificate) but class 12th is H.S.C (higher secondary certificate). So H.S.C. is higher than high school.
That's why I was thinking that can I use H.S.C. for express entry to get points for post secondary credentials.
I have a degree certificate but to get higher points I need two post secondary credentials !!
