You can pay RPRF fees along with the above fees at the time of submission (but its not required). However if you pay, then it will save some days.
you have to pay RPRF for you and your wife only
that would be 490+490
In case, if you won't pay RPRF,
then before getting your PPR, they will send you a request to pay your RPRF otherwise they will not process your application,
I think they give 7 days time as a deadline to pay RPRF.

when you say, applied with RPRF upfront, it means, you mention the credit card number for deducting RPRF, correct?
If yes, Does the amount 550+550+150 gets deducted in one transaction and 490+490 in another transaction(after some days)?

I just submitted my application by paying with my VISA Debit card and received a message "TRANSACTION APPROVED THANK YOU" with all other details like Response code, reference number etc. Does that mean my payment is done and received by CIC ? Money is debited from my account too.
Does that mean my payment is done and received by CIC ? and i dont need to worry about it ? Or sometime later they would come back asking for a credit card for payment ?

Just like to point this out as I have come across many people in Canada that don't understand a Visa debit card. A Visa debit card will act like a credit card and withdraw money straight from the account, if the funds are available if not then it will go on as credit into an overdraft on the account. I use my Visa debit card for all transactions that require credit cards.
