Can I travel by air within Canada as my PR card has expired?

I have to go on a business trip and my PR card expired back in April. I have a fully valid UK passport, but totally forgot to renew my PR card.

Can I fly within Canada? Will I get stopped at customs etc?

Yes, you can. You don't pass through customs when you travel local. All you need is a govt. ID like your driver's license or your UK passport.
