Hello everyone, I have completed B.Tech from India in Electronics and Communication, got 10 months of work experience. and then gap of an year due to health issues.
Now I am looking for opportunities to study in Canada in the field of Electronics only. Any ideas if PG Diploma is suitable or I should only be looking for a Masters program.
I know the basic difference that universities offer degrees and colleges offer diploma.
1. Is PG diploma not equivalent to a Masters degree ?
2. Is is difficult to get a study visa for 2 year PG Diploma ? I read there were more chances of rejection in the past for a PGD.
3. Very much appreciate if anyone here is still planning to apply for 2017 intake and if someone knows where are the applications still getting accepted ?
4. how does PGD vs Masters affect the employment opportunities ?

thanks Mandeep. i should have mentioned I have 65 - 69 % score in my B.Tech. and higher secondary(12th) was pretty low @ 51 %.
Any idea where can I get in for Masters with those academics and who is still accepting application for 2017 ?
