I'm living with my boyfriend almost 2 years and we are gathering all the documents they required for apply under the Common-Law Partner in Canada class and also my extension visitor visa is processing. My question is:
Should I send my sponsorship application while my extension visitor visa is in process or Should I wait until my extension will be approved?
If you are also applying for the OWP, you should wait until your extension is approved. Many people who have applied for the OWP under implied status recently have had their applications treated as though they were not in status. You can apply for PR immediately though.

I’m a mod in one of the spousal sponsorship Facebook groups and there have been a bunch of cases cropping up lately. People who have applied for extensions (while still in status), applied for the OWP while on implied status, then find out (when they don’t get it 4 months later) it’s been put away till AIP. I don’t know if there’s confusion at IRCC about how it’s supposed to work...

That sucks! I'm safe though cause I applied for pr + owp last week and my status will expire mid March but will pass visitor extension this month, right?
