Can I open Sole proprietorship?

Hi Folks,

I have question regarding for "Sole Proprietorship". Can I open it on BOWP?
Or I need to wait for PR decision.

Is there any harm on my application? if I will join different company on contract role.

Kindly share your experience and suggest because accountant told me that they don't have any issue to create Sole proprietorship company but, it could be issue in immigration. Is it correct?

self-employment is permitted on an open work permit.

It will not affect your existing CEC application. However, if for some reason your application is not approved, it could affect your ability to re-apply.

I came to know that Sole proprietorship is possible on open work permit But, is there any chance to effect on existing CEC application?

However, I have showed 3+ years exps in CEC category including T4, NOA. Just waiting for medical. At a same time, I don't want to take any risk. That the reason, I have started this thread that it's safe to start Sole proprietorship on BOWP.

Anyone had experience in past then share it.

As far as I know CEC is based on past experience and your current status dosnt matter. Not only you dont have to work, You even don't have to be in Canada.
