I really need your help to advise me on filling immigration to Canada. this is about telling CIC about the previous marriage, which was ended up in divorce around 3 years ago. I have divorce decree in my local language.
as of now I am married again and have 1 yr old child. I am applying for immigration but in the application it asks to tell about the previous marriage. can i ignore it to avoide any unnecessary hassels about documentations and police clearence etc? will they come to know about my previous marriage?
No - you absolutely cannot ignore your previous marriage. You must include all of the details of your previous marriage including the divorce certificate. Failing to include information about your previous marriage is misrepresentation. If you're caught, your application will be refused and you will be banned from Canada for 5 years. And yes, it's entirely possible CIC will find out if you lie. Don't lie.
