Can I get married after getting BC EE PNP nomination certificate

I got my BC EE nomination certificate. therefore, there is 600 points added on my EE file. I am 996 points right now.
Because when I applied for EE PNP, I was single.I only got the nomination certificate for myself. I am wondering if I can get married before invited by EE.
Please give me some suggestions

I'm not sure but I think you can, as long as you include your spouse in the residency application. But it may be best to go to Canada first and then sponsor him/her, you will be apart for a little while but there won't a possibility for medical inadmissibility for your partner. Maybe check how long the sponsorship process takes for your specific country and from there see if you are willing to wait.

I am wondering how long it takes to show that 600 points being adding up? I just received my bc pnp nomination today, but my EE profile's score is still the same. I hasn't changed .

Hey, I am in a similar situation. I actually did get married after receiving my BC PNP. I have attempted to contact BC PNP, but have not heard anything back yet. Do you know if they need to re-issue another PNP certificate?

I do not think they will issue another certificate, but I think you can add your partner to Federal Application.
Did you hear anything from PNP office yet?

Hi Qdann,

BC PNP rep just called me, and he said that as far as I am still eligible for PNP (I still have permanent job in BC, and my income is above the minimum income for 2-people household), my nomination should not be affected by the change of my marital status.

I actually decided to get married before receiving an ITA, because spousal sponsorship now takes years. Something to consider
