Mine and my partners open work permit status expires October 5th 2018, Ill be submitting my PR application within the next week probably (August 20th or something like that) online and I'm here in Canada working on an open work permit so is my common law (girlfriend). As she won't be eligible for BWOP as she isn't the principal applicant. I am trying to find a way to keep her working, so can I take all my required documents and go to the border and flagpole to get my BWOP and then get her the open work permit there or apply for it online after? I have all the documents as I needed them for PR even the declaration of common law union. My situation is perfectly legitimate and I see no reason why it would be refused as otherwise she would lose her job whilst she waits for status which is bad for me and her I simply wouldn't be able to afford my rent.
I'm just looking for a solution as she is working in a skilled occupation but is not the principal applicant and by the time I submit my PR application and apply for BWOP her status will expire whilst I'm waiting for BWOP to be approved, which would mean she would not be able to work (unless I apply to extend her status and she goes onto Implied Status) and I'm trying to avoid implied status as the restrictions on travel and if she changes jobs it could cause problems maybe I think.
I'm very worried and lost in the bureaucracy, I read online flag poling is restricted tuesday-thursday which is fine and even if they refuse your situation you can continue with your current status so it seems like we may aswell try? unless there is another way?
Could I flagpole for an open work permit I know BOWP is different but it says on the requirements for an open work permit NOT a BOWP that you need one of the following: applied for permanent residence was listed so I am thinking thats for special circumstances like now?

Going back to your original questions, why don't you just submit your partner's OWP at the same time as your apply for your BOWP? That was already suggested to you in your other threads earlier today (twice). Is there a reason why you have ignored that recommendation?

I really don't think there is any reason to try and patronise me here with "is there any reason why you have ignored that recommendation?" .
I created a new thread with completely different asks please feel free to compare them as I am trying to avoid going onto implied status as sometimes I have to travel outside of the country for work.
