If I provide an acceptance letter from one university when applying for the study permit, am I required to then attend that specific university, or would it be possible, prior to commencing my studies, to change the university that I wish to study in?

My situation:
I am an international student currently finishing my final year of high school and I have applied to several Canadian universities. I have received offers from several institutions, but am still waiting to receive responses from some universities regarding information about scholarships. These responses are necessary for me to make a final decision, but will take some more time to process. I have not yet applied for a study permit, but must do so soon due to the lengthy processing times.

Yes you can. You need to change the school in your CIC account.
