can i at least start my filing process before having 1 yr of experience on hand?

Hi,
I have been working in US for 17 months (12 months in F1 status and 7 months in H1B status). My question is, do I need to wait until my experience reaches 1 year in H1B or can I start my filing process now since it takes about 6 months to get process by when I will have had 1 year of H1B experience?

Since it says that one should have 1 year of experience at the time of making the decision, can I start applying now or do I need to hold 1 year experience in H1B just even to file the application? Please suggest.

I was in same boat as yours. I still have to go 5 months to complete 1yr on H1b. I emailed to AINP regarding the same., They told me to wait till Oct' 2009; i can not apply right now.
At last, I ended up applying for FSW as I had more than 1yr experience in one of 38 NOC.

since i also hold 17 months of experience in one of those NOC, would you recommend me to apply right away for FSW or shall i wait 5 more months to apply for Alberta PNP.

as i said, we almost in same bout
Even i had experience of one year in one of NOC for CIC. I didnt wait and had applied already this month.
I think you shouldn't wait too if you make up 67 points for eligibility for PR.

How much exp you have? I have 5 Years of Exp as Team Lead IT ..Can I apply under 0213 NOC?

I think you can go for 0213 if u;ve team lead exp more than a year....jus be carefuly mentioning your duties... try to include as much as managerial role duties if you have,, and u shud b ok.

Have you also attached reference letters from your current or previous employer. I have seen some folks are talking about this in this forum.
