Hi,

I have a certification in communications and am wondering if IEC would limit my job opportunities using that visa to gain full-time employment? I'm not sure what is the difference between IEC and YP other than you need to have a job secured for YP prior to going...

1) Am I able to switch from IEC to YP visa during my stay in Canada?
2) Do I need to exit the country on IEC?
3) Can I gain full-time employment on IEC for a professional job e.g. If someone offered me a proper job?

Cheers!

1. If you participate in Working Holiday, as an Australian, you can only participate in International Coop, you can't participate in Young Professional.

Does that mean I would have harder chance finding decent professional work on a working holiday visa than YP?

1. Probably, as most employers will know that you have only temporary status, so they are not going to invest a lot of time nor money in an employee who only is temporary.
