CAN I APPLY FOR STUDENT VISA VIA PEARSON TEST(PTE-A) URGENT!!!!!

Hi,

I already got a acceptance letter from university of Ottawa for masters in computer science for Sep intake. I don't have IELTS score. I applied to university via my PTE score.

Now my question is either CIC will accept PTE-A as a proof of English language for student visa permit (university VISA without SPP)

Hi!

Well, if you are able to qualify admission in any institution based on Pearson Test, then for sure you can.

Most institutions accept Pearson Test if you have a score of at least 58 in the Test.

Hi everyone
PTE was accepted by few SPP colleges for year 2016.
But recently many non-spp colleges are also accepting PTE Academic and embassy is granting study visa for Jan 2018 intake
Choose your course and college that fulfills requirement for admission.

There are some members on here who got Visa rejection due to using PTE. TOEFL & IELTS are the recommended certs.
