Can i acheive commonlaw marriage with my boyfriend in quebec?? i am US citizen

Can i acheive common law if i stay six months( living with him) to study ( my course is only 6 months), go back to states if only for a day and come back and stay another 6 months. or do i need a visitor visa. Trying to find a way to legally get this year in so we can be common law.

Yes, you can. Instead of going to the border and coming back, you could also apply to extend your visitor status.
