can CIC send me the photocopy of my passport if i request them(4 medical exam)?

hi everyone... today i had my medical exam in Lahore Pakistan but missed as they told me to bring a photocopy of my passport to proceed but my passport is with CIC. so can CIC send me the scan(photocopy) of my passport if i requested them and also whats the procedure for that? I would really appreciate the help... i don't know what to do and it's urgent cause deadline for my medical exam is not that far...

you don't even have the scan of your Passport?
I think you can bring your CNIC to IOM if you don't have your passport with you but do confirm with the IOM office first.

yeah i don't have the scan...i didn't think it would be necessary (bad judgement i guess)... i contacted iom and they say it is compulsory to have a copy of passport without it they won't do medical... i've emailed CIC islamabd but don't know when they're gonna reply and also if they're gonna send me the photocopy... can you tell me in how many days they will reply me? or should i go to Islamabad?

I hate to say this but you're in a very difficult situation because CIC Islamabad usually takes 10-15 days. And they only reply to your emails if your application has passed the normal processing time otherwise they don't even reply. So of you wait for them to reply to your email, it could cost you some time and I believe that you've to undergo the medical exam within 30 days? So I think the best thing to do is to visit their office in person and explain them your situation

I did apply on July 22, 2016. and yeah you gotta do it in 30 days...

then I think you shouldn't wait and take any chances. The best thing to do is to visit cic office in Islamabad because you don't wanna lose your 30 days window. Where are you from?

yeah there's no harm in calling them but according to some of the people on this forum, they never pick your call. They just put you on hold and no one ever really answers the call. But do try it. Try calling them and if you get to talk to someone then explain him your situation, hopefully they will help you. Good luck
