I am a casual LPN working varying hours in a week!
Although I think it is possible to apply for CEC with my casual employment state... I just wanted to confirm with others' opinion! I have gained 1700+ hours in one job and close to get 52 weeks of FTE... I have searched this forum... and some people said that I can add up all part time hours (less than 30 hours a week) and divided by 30... Some weeks, I only worked for 8 hours....
Does anybody know for sure that casual employment status does not matter when applying for CEC as long as I have valid workpermit? Also, can I leave my job before I apply for CEC once I have 52 weeks of FTE, I will leave to another position with higher NOC..

Skilled work experience
To be eligible for the CEC, you need to have Canadian skilled work experience within three years of applying. According to the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC), skilled work experience means:
Managerial jobs (NOC skill level 0)
Professional jobs (NOC skill type A)
Technical jobs and skilled trades (NOC skill type B)
Your experience must be at least
12 months of full-time work
30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours), OR
equal amount in part-time hours, such as:
15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
30 hours/week for 12 months at more than one job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
Yes as long as you have qualifying employment NOC 0, A or B and all your employer/s confirm your duties in the correct format letter/s you can apply. You can have multiple jobs.
