First of all I want to thank every one in the forum. You guys have been extremely helpful. Especially when I posted that I didn't receive my Medical request but GCMS says it's been sent. I gave +1's to everyone who helped but I know they're not enough.

As you advised , I did medicals with IME and paid my RPRF as I don't know if they requested it . CIC had sent Email to my REP, who isn't helpful at all. He said, he didn't receive anything but according to GCMS it was sent to his email.

Now the Question is if there is any other way I can know When CIC sends the PPR ? I have already emailed CPC for getting emails sent to my own Email id. But I can't rely on that because last time I sent email to CIC, they didn't even bother to reply :-/ please suggest

If your rep didn't get email or if he is not telling you that he got email, only way to figure out ur PPR request is, when you log in status change to decision made, after it changes to medical received, you can expect ppr and keep checking your online status.

If you want to start getting emails from CIC directly, you have to cancel your representative (in order to do that, you have to fill up and send a form to CIC ). Otherwise your representative will be the one getting all the emails from CIC.

you can do two things

1. wait to see change in ur ecas status
2. cancel your representative

If you can't rely on your representative, you should cancel - then you will be contacted directly. Use this form -

CIC gives 2 month timeline to send the Passport for stamping, right?

yes 60 days

Does ECAS changes to Decision made for sure, when CIC sends PPR request?? I read on the forum that some applicant got PPR request. However, their status showed on ECAS as "in Progress"..
Thank you

Thank you
I guess it depends on the VO mine took about 2 weeks

Thanks :) I guess I should cancel the REP .. How do I send the form to CIC ? Like Via email or Post ? Also , How long does it usually take to update the payment on ECAS after paying the RPRF ? And how long after RPRF payment does it take to get PPR ?

I'm just asking cuz I want to figure out if I would be able to get my representative cancelled before PPR ?

atuls1317 , why don't you wait for another one week till then your medical reports get uploaded then order GCMS notes after few days.. You will get all information in it if they sent PPR request, also E-CAS should change at least in 15 days time. This is my opinion instead you cancel REP..
REP cancel also may slow down your little bit process..

Thanks Omshri, I agree with you, GCMS are actually better option than cancelling the REP. I guess I need to think about it once more. Im sorry I modified the previous post a bit.

Waiting for GCMS notes means waiting for another 30 days. And as September applicants, you might miss a lot of time. You sure you wanna do that? If you can't trust your rep, might as well take over your application right away. But again I am not sure whether cancelling your rep will slow down your application...

Hey guys as I told u the other day that I emailed CIC about how I didn't get emails and my representative got them but didn't tell me about them ! And asked them to send emails to me on my own email ! I got the following reply today :

Good afternoon,

All those informations are now updated in your file. For past communications, please note that we sent (April 28 2014) a reminder for RPRF (permanent resident fees) payment by email. This letter is attached with this email.

Regards

So does it mean that I will be receiving any emails from now on ??
How long does it take to update RPRF payment ?
Thanks

I am not sure what information they added to your file. Did you send any forms to cancel your representative? That's should be part of protocol.

But at least you got RPRF request! Congrats for that... After making proper payments and send the email to the address they asked, you can also send an email to CPP Ottawa to update them that you have paid RPRF fees and have sent them the proof of payment, as well as sending the representative cancellation form. This is to ensure that you will be the sole person to receive CEC applications update.

Don't forget to use Toby's excellent template: http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/email-template.html

His other links are also great for finding other information...
