Can a freelancer file under Skilled Worker?

Hi Guys,

I have a confusion. I want to apply for immigration under the skilled worker program. I am a computer engineer with 4 years of experience. Currently I am working as a freelancer and take up projects as individual. But, earlier I have been doing a job and has worked as a team lead and Project Manager too.

Now, can I apply under the skilled worker program? Or I will considered as self employed and HAVE to file under business category? I don't have a business. I am a freelancer.

I am really confused about it. Please let me know about this.

Correct as long as you were employed for 1 year in the previous 10 years
