Can i a canadian citizen sponsor my u.s citizen husband to become a citizen here and my husband a u.s citizen sponsor me a canadian citizen to become a u.s citizen at the same time? We just wanna be together so bad no matter where we live.
You can only sponsor your US citizen husband to become a PR in Canada (not Canadian Citizen).....only after he has lived in Canada as a PR (for at least 1095 days), he could apply to become a Canadian citizen (naturalization).
The problem is that if IRCC find out that your husband is sponsoring you for green card, it tells them he is not ready to move to Canada, when it is expected of him to move to Canada. Husband applying for green card tells them he is not ready to move to Canada or have any intention to move to canada and settle. They can deny him PR status. There have been cases of PR denial because applicant said he / she need to finish university before moving.
