when to apply for a work permit to continue working while waiting for CoPR?

My work permit is expiring on 2nd April 2023. about 2.5 months now! and there is no news about CoPR from the Calgary office!

Please guide me when is the best time to apply for a Work Permit? is it okay if I apply in mid-March 2023?

I would wait. In the moment you have your BOWP application placed, you're in a maintained status, as long as it's before it expires. I'd place it a couple of weeks prior to the expiration date.

yeah, tbh I'm not entirely sure what gets anything moving with IRCC. I'm beginning to get super frustrated waiting on them fixing my technical issue with the portal 2 credentials being missing but the case being created for me to actually confirm PR. I literally don't trust that they don't just ignore emails.

I've spoken to CS and they said they sent an email, I myself have sent 3 emails to the Prairies Client Portal - the lack of how to clearly resolve shit is frustrating. It feels like such a fundamentally half arsed system. The portal emails always say "we don't respond to follow ups,etc..". but at the same time they also say if you have technical issues respond to that email address. It such mixed messaging
