Does anyone help on getting approx idea on timeline from day cic receive application until AOR ?

Does applicant's local office makes difference in processing time ? Edmonton v/s Calgary v/s toronto ?

I took the test July 18th and have been DM since July 27th... I too am still waiting for my oath invite.
Super stoked for everyone getting their invites, but a little frustrated too.

I felt the same way that it was taking so long for DM, but after the DM, i got the oath invite the next day so thats a great sign i think. rather than waiting for oath after DM...

For everyone waiting on Oath invites... I called CIC the other day to inquire about my case and the call agent was super helpful.

She could not tell me why someone like myself who has been DM since July 27th has yet to receive an invite (my file is good and "scheduled for oath invite" in the system), but as per a few posters, someone who only received a DM a week or so ago already had an invite.

She said oath invites are scheduled from the actually offices themselves and each office has it's own system and there was really no rhyme or reason to how they actually scheduled cases.

So for those also stuck on DM, waiting for oath... chances are it has NOTHING to do with an issue with your case, it's just a non-system working our patience. Haha.

Happy to report I took my Citizenship Oath on Friday !

Officially a (dual) Canadian Citizen....
Almost exactly 8 months, to the day, that my application started processing.
