Do not worry. My mother is IP since feb 4. Me and my daughter ip since feb10. Although I was required to do an fp in March. Still no test invite

Hey Guys , gave my test last week (wed) , I called CIC, the agent told me security checks are going on and haven't been completed and that I would get an oath 3 months after that? I am very surprised here, how much time does it take and what does security check mean?

same here, I called the CIC agent too and told me the background checks are underway.
When was the IP date of your file?

February 9. She told me everything was done. Not sure why I still don’t have a test date.

well mine is IP sine January 04, that's even worse
If you will check those Nov and Dec applicants, some of them got their test invites already which makes me feel more sad as mine got super behind the rest already. Today is Friday, I am not expecting much from them since its going to be long week end, I just hope next week is a better week. *fingers crossed

Me passed test 26 April still no oath invitation
Though july i m not in canada i ll be travelling

One of my friend from Edmonton gave the test and within 20 days received a date for oath, why is security check lengthier for some people and shorter for others? Some people on the forum say theres a big backlog, I am very unclear on this

Passed test early march still no invite. Patience is a virtue we earn from dealing with IRCC haha

I did call them like twice and the answers of the two agents are the same. The background check is still in progress
