I had my test yesterday (March 12) at the Harry Hays building and am now waiting for the oath invite. During my interview, the officer mentioned that "for some unknown reasons the reports on the security checks are recently taking forever" to get to them and the officers are no longer able to estimate the approximate time for the next step (i.e., oath ceremony). I specifically asked whether 2 months wait is a good estimate but then he replied it could be shorter or even longer than 2 months; it all depends on the office responsible for the security check reports.
So, I am personally not surprised why the Calgary office is slow these days.
I was told that I passed all checks and I am ready for the test, that was almost 5 weeks ago, nothing happened after that. So, I do not think the clearance reports are the main reason!

For those who had their FPs done, where did you get yours? I am looking to do it in Commisionaires, but I would like to hear from others about their experience.
IF you are talking about the FP result, it takes few business days to be sent to RCMP, if its clear and no match then again few business days to be sent to your local office or to the office that sent you the letter ( not pretty sure where it goes ). Then your file should be updated ( not the Ecas ) by one of the officers maybe within a week or less ( that based on some members experience here, because I didn't go through it).
BUT, if you are asking about the WHOLE background check, No body knows and no one can give you a real answer even people work for IRCC because every case has its own situation. The FP is a prat of that process and I think steps are being done on parallel not respectively, I mean csis and rcmp and other agencies could do the check on you at the same time. I am not a 100% sure about that, all these info I got it from this forum.
Again, in my opinion, its all about your local office and how fast they are, you can see how Calgary office is doing these days. Many members here are ready for test and oath but they have not receiving anything.
If you live downtown or close this place is ideal and you don't need an appointment for same price and fast service as commissionaires.

Hi all,
I have recently gave up my driving license to add my new address.
My test is next week.
Does my PR Crad and Health Card is goone enough for identity purpose?

It should do. You also have a valid passport? (That counts as proof of identity as well)
But do take the change of address confirmation (the temporary paper driver's licence), so you can show that as proof of address, in case the CO wants to see it (certainly do so if you submitted a photocopy of your driver's licence with your application).
