Are they suppose to ask that ?? I suggest providing them with what they want instead of asking why are they not asking whatever information you think they should ask.
Quick q for those who applied with family (i.e. with minor):
Minor application form has different mailing address mentioned than adult application, i.e. it has "Grant Minor" or "Grant Adult" at the end, rest address is same. As per minor application, we should be sending it along with parents application. i want to know how other people has sent the application with minor applying.
1). In Adult application - field 9b. what date should i fill under "date your status was obtained"?
I came in Canada in 2008 but my eligibility starts in Oct 2017 (5 years from today). So i should put date when eligibility starts as whole form talks about eligibility period or the date when i land in Canada?
2). I don't have email id of employer. do you think its mandatory, i am providing phone number & other info.

For Question 9 B under minors application form CIT0003E-2 "Has the child left Canada for a total of 6 months or longer since becoming a permanent resident"
We only have to list the absence in the table/chart below if child stayed out of Canada for 6 months or more. I child stayed out of Canada for less then 6 months the we have to say "No" and leave the chart/table below blank or mentioned N/A in the table.
Did i get it correct? Any suggestions how to answer in this scenario ?

My friend applied on 11th, and submitted the following docs:
- Citizenship App, signed and dated
- Check list
- Bio pages of passport
- CLPIP-G score card (from 2013)
- PR card copy
- Calculator page, signed and dated
- Fees paid copy
Extra docs submitted:
- Driving license copy
- COPR copy
- Health Card copy
We were talking, if she submitted too many docs, and if that would be an issue ..
What do you guys think.. should be ok right ..?
Do the immigration officers just shred the excess docs ..?

For You point 3, if you are putting applications for both adults and minor in one envelope then you have to send it to Grant Adult, If you are sending a separate application for minor then you have to send it to Grant minors
Thanks a lot I didn't mention it in Background declaration , but I did mention it in Provincial Nominee forms, which if I remember I sent along with my PR forms I think I'll include it in the application
Hello,
I have question about minor application with parent. If we submit kids application with one parent in single envelop and by chance if they find parent application is incomplete, whether the whole package will come back or IRCC will process the minor application and only return the adult application?
Thanks,
