By mistake Applied to Buffalo and still haven't heard

I submitted all documents do NY - Buffalo on Dec 22, but still haven't received any reply from them. I know many people received their application returned stating to apply to Sydney, but I haven't received anything. Is anyone aware of such case and what were results. Please help.

There is an on-line provision www.cic.gc.ca/
Fill in your 1. File No. 2. Date of Birth 3. Telephone No. 4. Postal address 5. your NAME as it appears on your application form 6. your E-mail ID. and 7. your Enquiry. ( ALL THIS INFORMATION IS COMPULSORY TO GET A REPLY )
Then you'll be replied to within the time-frame as your Embassy intimates you by the return of your E-mail reply.
