Business on Open Work Permit

HI All,

I have closed work permit issued by my employer. My wife is my dependent and she has Open work permit (as my dependent).

Does anyone know if She is allowed to register / open a company and conduct business?

Normally you need to have a Canadian partner to start and register a business.

You must have zero involvement in the business since you are on a closed work permit.

Yes, She has a Canadian PR holder as a Partner of business.
Yes I am not involved in it.
