This thread goes back, and I thought might only few unlucky people left here including myself.
On last Thursday Dec 05,2013, CIC called my home . I missed the call and they did not left any message . Why they keep us frustrating . Why the caller does not left any message I least who and why calling as I have voice message and means to store messages. They might think that waiting for 43 months is not enough stress.
Please friends, who are in the same boat, share your update.
I'm in the same boat as you are. My time-line is very similar to yours, paid the RPRF a year and a half ago and still waiting. I think we can do nothing but waiting....

The name on my screen says Immigration & Citizenship Canada and its from Ottawa 1(613)954-0759. When I called back, a woman said that we donot call you and she did not tell who she is.

They ought to have left message at least. I guess it is part of thier background check to confirm if your are in Canada or not. At least, the fact that your number went through and that they heard your voice message should give them some confidence. Be hopeful

I do not know why they did not send an email instead if they need any info or leave a message to call them back, more stress and waiting.

I guessed they really want to speak with you. I would send them an email mentioning the various missed calls. You will inform them of when they can reach you on the phone. If you will be at work throughout the day time then you should give them work phone number.
