Yes that might be a problem. You should definitely talk to a immigration lawyer. What I can suggest to you is do not hide your unemployment from CIC. Misleading CIC is a serious trouble and might jeopardize your future chances to immigrate Canada under other categories.
Guys,
I got the note below from CIC regarding another CEC application that is in process.
"This concerns the CEC application number mentioned above. A review of your client records has demonstrated that you already have been approved for permanent residence as a result of another application in the FSW Class. As a result, your file has been closed and no further processing will take place. Any forms used for the purpose of filing the application will not be returned and will be retained on file."
It seems to be good news, but I have not recieved a PPR yet. The CEC applications are being processing super fast.
I don't know when I will get a PPR for this FSW application. Any thoughts?

Excellent. This is a very good news. They are finalizing your file now. It seems that from FSW medical to PPR should not be long then. Check you email maybe there is a PPR right now! I think it wont be more than 3 months from medical.

I think from now on does not matter what category you are. Probably bunch of bureaucracy and b/c check. The difference for FSW and CEC is the time you need to wait until your file is assigned to an officer. After it is assigned, I think it would be the same for all categories. CEC's usually assigned to officers in the first few months, but for FSW is 2-3 years!

Finally, we got our PPR today . Best wishes for all of you out there. I don't want to say it will be soon, but believe me it will come. It took me 40 long months . Unbelievable...but it paid !!
