We've done our medicals in May, 2012. I've received an e-mail from cpp-ottawa 2 days back to re-do medical exams of my 2 dependents and x-ray for my spouse while Medical for my entire family was M-01 in my latest caips notes which I received last week. Can any body explain me please what could be the possible reason to re-do their medicals again except me? Your answer would be highly appreciated.
Congratulations to those who got ppr. Anyway, I personally think that redo medical exam is a positive signal. I saw somewhere this forum a guy's wife did a cardiological surgery got ppr.
I received this email from Ottawa. I sent them an email on Friday regarding my application.

Hi Fellas,
i just received PPR by email today. They gave me 15 days to submit my pp to Newyork office.
I hope the best for all of you fellas still waiting for PPR.
Just a quick question from those who submitted their PP to NY from Canada: Do you have any idea if I can include prepaid return envelope for PP? If yes, what courier you have used.

Just wondering when Ottawa asked you to provide updated forms. Did you use the forms currently available for FSW on the CIC website or the one you use when you first applied back in 2010? Thanks a lot!

they asked my to send them updated forms and letter of employment status and funds on Feb 4th and I submitted them few days later.
They provided me with the links to dowload the forms. Apparently, the forms are the current forms for new applicants.

Same thing happened to me too. A whole year after medical, my MP still told me that one of my background checks expired and they are working on getting it again. Obviously Ottawa didn't review my file in time so that those background checks expired before they ever looked at it. Hopefully this will NOT go into a closed loop cycle.
