They have started it on December 17 2012. There are some requirements for it. It will not work out for me thou. I do not fall under this(They have valid status on a WP that is due to expire within 4 months).

Sorry to hear that Matt. Hopefully, you will get the Medical soon. Just hang in there. I strongly feel Ottawa delaying FSW3 since we are already in CA.

Thank RD. You have right feelings bro. They have stopped FSW3 in 2010 so we all know we will be the last to be processed. I am hanging there n hoping to hear sth soon.

Did they ask you for any documents after IP? They asked me to provide the updated reference letters and T4s last May. And then after that I have never heard anything from them.
I applied in Feb 2010 and my medical request was done in April 2012. Since then havent heard anything. Requested CAIPS notes and it says the bring forward dat as 30th March 2013. Its 5th april today and havent heard anything yet.

I second it. FSW3 is moving. I applied on May 2010 and waited for 2 yrs to get in IP with start date as April 2012. Then after another harrowing wait, I got MR and updated form on Dec 2012 with attention to a designated case analyst. Submitted them in Jan 2013. In Jan 2013, they immediately asked for updated US state PCC (They didnt request FBI again) again to the same designated case analyst and then on Feb 12, 2013, I saw Med Received on E-case.
I called CIC and the agent personally call me back from Montreal CIC call center, they said background/criminality check started on Feb. Then few week back, Ottawa replied my email at lightening speed on Mar 21 that my file has been with an officer for final review and next steps will be communicated to me. So I assume my b/g has been completed and officer is taking final glance.
On each month since Sep 2012 uptil Mar 2013, I saw PPR for 2010 FSW applicants.
I am yet to see any for April, keeping fingers crossed.
