Congratulations to you for finally getting PPR.

You mentioned that you are going to NY for visa-stamping In-Person. I assume that you are currently in India, if so, then on which visa you are traveling to US, please let me know, as I am also in India these days and I filed my application while in US. Wondering if you can get visa (tourist visa for US) for stamping purpose.

My application is in NY office. It was transferred on to NY from Buffalo on Nov 3 and started processing on Dec 02.

On the day of 23rd Dec, NY office has requested SEALED TRANSCRIPT of my degree from my University.

I was just wondering: Does anyone else got similar request from NY consulate?

Or did anyone for Medical request from NY Consulate after providing sealed transcript. If yes how much time it takes after you send them transcripts? Appreciate your reponse please.

Sealed transcript from college was a requirement, and was to be sent with documents orig sent to buffalo (if i remember correctly- its been 2 years now. It would be normal of them asking for that now if you didn't send it back then. Matter of fact, its actually NICE of them to ask for missing documents instead of just sending everything back at this point- if you know what i mean. Good luck.

I can see that your medical was on Feb 2. When did your medicals get to Ottawa? Hope you will get PPR soon? Did you pay your RPRF?

yeah paid rrpf sometime last week.. did medical on feb 14th .. dont hink results have come yet to send to ottawa yet.. but thy could have found the results from my advance meds done in july 2011

I just received my MR today!!!!!!!!!
I am so happy.
They have send to me MR by brown envelope and they are also asking 980$ for visa's (for my wife and myself)

I hope they did anuM! I did my medicals in advance too remember? I phoned CIC and asked if the result will show in NY system, they told me NO, I should send the proof to NY that I've already done my medicals and I did. 2 weeks after that I received my PPR ;D

My address disappeared too for 1 week before I heard that good news!! So who knows my friend...I'm so excited for you! keep us posted

Question : how much time do you get before you have to land? I mean, is this a 30 day visa, 60 days, or six months maybe?
