I am a Canadian who is marrying a Chilean in Santiago in 3 weeks. We plan to travel to Canada together in early April. Being from Chile she is visa exempt. I intend to buy her a refundable return ticket back to Santiago for 2-3 weeks after the arrival date. She will also have documented proof of an address and job contract in Santiago, but the address is her parents spare house and the job contract is from her brothers business. We have a good reason to come to Saskatchewan because my parents are throwing us a "post-wedding reception" in Saskatoon. My intention is to enter Canada with her under these pretences but in reality I want to stay in Canada with her and move to Vancouver and begin the inland application process.
Does anyone foresee any problems with her entering Canada via Saskatoon as a visitor?
