Some questions regarding supervisa application for bringing mom from India to Canada:
-In what ways can she proof ties to home country?
-I currently don't have my own place (am sharing someone's rented apartment). Would I need my own place before the application or can I get it later before she comes over (I think I may need to specify the exact address she will be staying in the invitation letter) ?
-For proving mother-son relationship, I can't find my birth certificate but my Indian passport does have her listed as my mom. Would this be work?
- Also I have just applied for Canadian citizenship. Though my Indian passport is valid for another 8 or so years, once the Canadian citizenship is granted the Indian passport will expire (as India doesn't allow dual citizenship).
Could I still use the then expired Indian passport for the relationship proof? Would the Canadian passport will also have her listed as my mother?
