I want to know how NDVO puts BRING FORWARD DATE (BFD) put on our file. For example : If an action is taken on our file today, then what will be next BFD.. will it be after 60 days or 90 days or more?? The friends who received their GCMS notes might have an idea about it.. Please share your experience.
my guess is if CIC made a request for documents or more information, the time they specified on that letter would essentially be the BFD. At the same time, each VO is different, so it's hard to say if this is true. I would think more information would be needed to determine whether the wait you've been experiencing is "normal" or beyond normal. Then we'd be able to help guide you a bit more effectively. Or I'd post this question specifically in any New Dehli threads on this forum.

Hi friend, thank you very much for your reply.. actually, NDVO requested me medical reassessment 3 months back. On the letter they gave 30 days only. but i haven't heard anything from them since then.. i think the wait is more than normal.. what you think..

i agree it's probably normal not to hear from them after you send them the requested information. from what i've read on these threads, it's easy to go months without any communication. that's why people order GMCS (or whatever the acronym is) notes regularly - so they can stay on top of the file and see what the progress is.
