Bridging work permit

Hy. I have applied in CEC.
and my visa is expiring in a month
I m trying to apply for bridging work permit.but my ongoing wp is for specific employer. Ive used job offer from same employer in my. Express entry file. What kind of work permit will i get?
Bridging open work permit or. Again a bonded one. Does anyone know plz tell me.

if you are on closed WP.. you cnt apply for BWP..

just think about it, what's BOWP s full name? bridging OPEN work permit . if you didn't have an open work permit, you can't apply for one.

go on cic website and read the eligibility requirement for BWP. It clearly says that applicants with employer restrictions can not apply for BWP. You can take consultant advice too.. i can be wrong

THAT BEING SAID: yes! You can apply for bridging open work permit even if you have closed wp right now. But your application for pr has to be submitted before you apply for bowp.

Exactly.
Come on, this is what a BOWP meant to be, giving people who are currently working in Canada a valid status to continue working while waiting for their PR process. It is completely ridiculous not allowing people to stay.
Actually one of my co-worker is in the same situation and he has already applied BOWP, and I will also do the same when I receive my close work permit.
