Hi Sam872,

What this means is that R10 check on your PR application is still not compete and till then your BOWP will be put on hold. What is the status on your PR application? Medicals passed? Background verification in progress?

Can spouse apply for BOWP .?? I am principle applicant for PR and I am going to apply for my BOWP. I am not sure how can i extend work permit for spouse. She's having open work permit same as mine.

Yes. Add additional applicant within your online work permit application and add LOE mentioning about the spousal open work permit and the fact that you have got AOR.

yes i am currently in canada...
I applied for BOWP on 17th Feb and it went on hold on 29th March... Medical passed today and my WP is expiring on April30th

My Current Status is Medicals Passed ,BG -We are Processing your BG Check .
My AOR-FEB28TH

On Hold Status is good sign for the approval or Not Please advise , Anyone of you had the same status before , if so how long will take for the approval .

you can use same medicals... do not forget to attach you AOR along with cover letter in the letter of explanation section when u submit the application
