I received a 1 year open permit, which I believe is standard unless you have an LMIA or PNP. It was dated from the day it was approved, so a year starting February 9th 2017.
First I got a notification saying that the WP is approved. After that I received another notification (an hour later I think) in CIC. it was a PDF file stating the validity
Thanks guys for your prompt response, still now i didn't receive any notification so i checked again the PDF file but nothing is here, let me know where exactly i could see that file?+1 for both of you guys.
Thanks
We applied bridging work permit online on January 08/17 and it approved on February 07 /17.we both ( me+ husband) applied together from my cic account. Our previous work permit expired on January 22nd.we got AOR on November 2016. ......
From this page:

It seems like spouses are not eligible for the BOWP, it's only for the principal applicant.
My question is:
What can I do for my spouse?
What kind of work permit can he have?
I am new here. Currently running out of time so would really appreciate any help / advice.
My situation as of now:
- Got my ITA on Jan.25, about to submit my e-APR for CEC
- Employed full-time, PGWP expiring on March 7
Question:
Once I submit my e-APR and receive the notification (that many claim is not an actual AOR) - can I still use it to apply for the BOWP?
I got very confused after reading lots of different opinions on AOR for BOWP and I don't quite understand if the rules have changed or loosened and if whatever you receive immediately upon your e-APR submission is the legit version of AOR that CIC now recognizes for BOWP?
And so after I submit my e-APR hopefully tomorrow should I submit an online or a paper application for BOWP? I understand that online processing times are not as long now, so they might get to my application before my e-APR passes the completeness check. In this case - will they reject my BOWP application? Or is it not the case anymore?

From reading the posts from 2015 and 2016 I got an impression that those applications just get rejected immediately, but I guess things have changed...
