If you applied under EE then you need to select yes.. Otherwise it wont give you the option to apply for BOWP.

That is the key question.. That simply means if you already got AOR which is true ...

Just follow the questions and it will give you options for BOWP and TRV.. and it takes 35 days to get approved.. so you are good in time..

It gives me two options: temporary visa and work permit. I guess the work permit option is BOWP? thought it would be called BOWP

Just use the 1st AOR, there is no 2nd AOR..

Hey @cuteness7, I applied for BOWP on 1 September, and nothing changed in my online status until yesterday, 5 October when it was changed to 'approved'. From what I've seen the processing time published on the CIC website that's updated each week (currently 32 days, updated yesterday) is correct.

If it helps, my BOWP hard copy took three days to arrive in the mail, once the status changed to 'Approved'.

ANd Glory to GOD, I received my approval for my BOWP this morning as well no email but it was in my cic account saying this application is closed and approved.

My timeline for BOWP is below: ( my current work permit will expire on January 2017)

September 09 ( BOWP Application submitted)
October 8 ( ghost email saying it was updated, but no changes at all in my cic account)
October 09 ( ghost email saying there is no update in my application, be patience, no changes in my cic account)
October 12 (BOWP approved), no ghost email but its approved in cic account

Can anyone help me to resolve my issue.. i have already checked browser settings and all looks ok. also tried to recreate bowp application but its still failing.. my WP is expiring in month so need help to apply bowp online.

Can anyone try applying BOWP and see if its allowing you to go to the stage where it asks you to upload reqd. documents for bowp application..?? any help will be appreciated

I have been working in Canada for just under four years - my first two year visa was LMO and my second was IEC. I'm concerned I will not get the BOWP due to the cumlative 4 year rule. Does anyone have any insight here? Are there any exceptions made when you have applied and are waiting for EE?

I m not in that situation but i believe u ll get BOWP. Its a work permit but based on that candidate is likely to be PR soon.
