Just my advice but do not wait on the 2nd AOR. It is lusive for most inland applicants. Wait to apply for BOWP until close to work permit expiry. Others have successfully been approved BOWP with 1st AOR. Good luck.

right now online bowp's are taking longer than paper ones but both are about 100 days so its up to you

I haven't received 2nd AOr yet and my work permit expires in 2 weeks time.

I was planning to apply with the first AOR.

Just figuring out if it makes sense to do a paper application so that i have enough time to get my application processed.

I called CIC asking about time line for second AOR and they said it is 18 weeks.

I told them about not many receiving the 2nd AOR but they were very reluctant to comment about it.

It is written on CIC as follows

Applicants must submit an Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker form [IMM 5710 (PDF, 447.94 KB)], indicating that they are applying for an open work permit.

I think it is the same form for all kinds of work permit.

I have been consistently getting this error while I am trying to apply for BOWP online.
Anyone encountered the same error today.
