Those are great improvements in processing times, what does the correspondence letter include?

True. I was expecting the approval to come around January 1-15. The letter contained nothing more than information that my biometrics are valid for 10 years for any temporary permit I apply for in the future.

Fair enough, I have already done my biometrics last year, so I have received that letter for my prior work permit already.

Mine was mailed on November 27th and I'm still yet to receive mine. Confirmed with someone from IRCC and he said that Canada Post has advised it could take the full 6 weeks (or whatever it says) to get to me in Vancouver.
Would love to hear if anyone else has received it and when their permit was approved!
Hi, I just got my BOWP approved today, there's no pdf or letter or anything. Do we just wait for them to mail it to us?
You'll likely get a pdf shortly that says it's been approved as well as your eTA and work permit number. The work permit is then mailed out but it's been taking awhile to get to people I think with the surge in mail leading up to the holiday period.

So with the pdf copy, can a person start working? Would it have all the necessary information?
