Hello guys my BOWP is approved this evening. its been 5 months and 1 days take for me so guys don't worry everything will be fine in due course.goodluck for everyone who waiting. by the way i applied BOWP under Express entry not a CEC class .

Congratulations mannual. It was a long wait for you. But it is a very good news that finally it got approved. It surely is a great relief for all of us waiting.
Hi Mannual and others - it is great to see that everyone is getting their BOWP finally after a long wait. I am going to be applying for my BOWP (including an open work permit for my spouse)
I have started an online application and just wanted to check if i got everything right before i submit my application
For me :
a. Application to extend stay as a worker -IMM5710
b. Medical examination proof
c. Use of a family member rep - IMM5713
d. Marriage Certificate
e. Digital photograph
f. Cover letter explaining my situation
g. Family member proof status - Her open work permit(expiry same as mine)
h. Travel document(Passport front, back and other stamped pages)
For my spouse :
a. Application to extend stay her stay as a worker - IMM5710
b. Medical examination proof
c. Cover letter explaining her situation(similar but not same as mine)
d. Travel document(Passport front, back and other stamped pages)
Please let me know if i have missed anything at all from the obvious ones mentioned in the checklist, something that might be good to make the application strong ?

I'm a May 25th applicant. In the last few minutes, I received an email to state that there my bridge visa application has been updated. I went in and the status has been updated to Closed. Beside where it reads 'A final decision has been reached', it has 'This application has been approved'.
Looks good. Anyone know how long it takes for them to mail out the actual bridge visa to my home address? I'm in Calgary.

.you will receive "in canada approvel letter" in your my cic account end of today or tomorrow keep in eye on ur my-cic, but this is not a real one .orginal permit will take one week to receive . congrats . did you apply online or paper?

I just got an email that there was an update to my CIC account. I went in and checked and I received my approval letter. Hopefully I get the bridge visa in the mail next week.
