Hi guys,
A question I couldn't find an answer to:
If I have a LMIA to support PR only (i.e, not a dual intent LMIA),
can I apply for a BOWP?
I am currently in Canada on a LMIA work permit expiring in June.
Thanks.

If you have one year and you get ITA with a AOR then yes you can get a BOWP, however if you do a EE LMIA (of witch I yet to see one) and get a closed WP then no they wont give you one as the WP is a year and EE takes 6 months
I will be applying for BOWP soon. I just got the AOR. Two questions:
- Can I apply with the AOR letter that I currently hold? (automatic response that I got as soon as I made the payment). The eligibility status says: "under review"
- Is there any passport restrictions? My passport will expire in Nov 2015. If I apply for BOWP is the max date that I can get = the expiration date of my passport? I will renew my passport soon, but I just called the Consulate from my country and I can't do it until the 22nd of June... I don't want to wait til then to apply for BOWP...

Yes you can apply for a BOWP as long as you have your AOR letter (not automated submission). Your existing permit must be expiring in 4 months or less. The LMIA for PR has nothing to do with you applying for BOWP

Thank you, that helps.

No. You have wait until you receive a letter from CIC. See instructions under Express Entry:
