Oh I see what you mean now. I looked at your "stats" and it says "AOR Received". But, this is not what you were talking about.
We got the notification email from Bogota after about 4-5 months from initial application. The email said "usual processing time is 10 months". Not sure if that processing time is from the date we got the noticiation email from Bogota or from some other time.
Hopefully the embassy in Bogota will get the notarized marriage certificate (again) today and the visa will be processed soon.

Ah ya...the AOR in my stats is for stage 1. So far we have been 7 months total processing time, 3 1/2 months for stage 1, and so far 3 1/2 months in Bogota, but no AOR from Bogota yet. It would be nice if that 10 months processing time was total, and not just bogota!
If your marriage certificate is the last thing required, you should be getting very close!
It took 2 months to get my AOR from Bogota, similar to doorsopen. My wife did her meds before I filed the application. In your case the meds were done on 10-09-2012 right? That might be a possible reason for the delay in getting your AOR from Bogota.

Quite possible. The last thing we need to do is get her police checks done once we get the instructions from Bogota...hopefullly we hear something in the next week or 2!

Ah...if you look on the CIC website, the procedures for police background checks are totally different for Ecuador and Colombia. For Ecuador, it says to get the checks done first, and send in with your app, and only takes a few minutes to get. For Colombia, it says DO NOT get your police check until you receive a file number and instructions from Bogota.

Apparently any Colombian can now do a criminal background check online as well using their ID number, but the process for a police check for immigration is waaaaaaay different. Why? No idea.
well, bogota has had my husbands passport for a little over 2 months now, is this normal?!?! starting to freak out a little! really want him here by xmas, but the days are just passing by with no news....
