Bogota Spouse Sponsorship Timeline

I sponsored my wife recently in Dec 2011, she is from Ecuador. I was approved on Feb 14, 2012 for the first part and they sent my papers for further processing to Bogota, Colombia. The application processing time for Bogota says 16 months.

But I would like to know if anybody has their papers processed from Bogota and how long it took?

Hi, Im ecuadorian wife being sponsored by my canadian husband...

this is our time line

papers received in canada inmigration office on november 3, 2011
he was approved as sponsor on january 13, 2012

we haven't gotten any online update since then so we called immigration office in canada on May, and they said our papers were already in colombia.

Today is September 11 and I got a letter from canadian embassy in colombia where they gave me a reference number and they said they have received my application and that the proccess of application can take within 10 months.

We got a request for passports and landing fee on Aug 14, 2012. My wife sent her passport immediately which the embassy received on Aug 17, 2012. As of today, Oct 1, 2012 we are still waiting for the passport.
