It's just that they take it earlier in the process but it's still 80% 15 months remember, not 7 months, but 15 :)

Ur a funny guy, i remember almost 2 months of u complaining about ur lack of AOR... i shall be sure to remember to redirect you to this post in the future. :-)

Please remember what the 80% entails, that is multi-applicant cases, difficult medical history, etc. Non typical... talking to most people bogota generally has single applicant cases cleaned up and processed in 10 months.

Anyway, as the job of the MP is to look into these matters ive requested him to verify they have received the passport, etc.

haha , Hey guys looks like medellinguy is prepared to wait 15 months ehhh lol

and yes I don't see the point to ask me for RPRF and the passport if they are behind in ours cases, what I assume is that they are working in cases bacause we have everything in place....that's what my comun sense is telling me at this point I don't know what to think....

I'll try call CIC today to see if there is something wrong, what I'm worry the most, is bacuse they asked for ll this and my status online stills says application received so....as I said at this point I don't know what to think.

good luck

I'm not ready to wait 15 months...I just think it's better to be prepared to wait for the time they tell you, if it's early, then AWESOME!

Now, Makool, did you pay the permanent residence fees at the start of the process? If NOT, this will add about 2 months to your process so they can process that. I know someone who didn't pay and the embassy took a month and a half to receive confirmation of payment from CIC.

Have you thought of ordering CAIPS note? it's free !

Nope, when i get the results from the MP they usually include details of the case.

Seriously, MP gets an answer usually within the day. I talked to them today and they were great, they expect an answer this week.

My MP has truly been wonderful, well the assistant to the MP.

How do you get your CAIPS?

M3the01 please keep us updated so we can have an idea about what's going on.

Medellinguy I was just kidding ok buddy mal tiempo buena cara ok.....lol

ok thanks we'll keep in touch.....good luck

Never mind, I just got the info from the forum about CAIPS....

thanks

ok I have an update for you guys, Remenber I mentioned about that when we were able to see the medicals recieved on e-cas they usually were working on the fiel, well this happened today.

Bogota office called my wife asking about the RPRF today, and she told her that the fee was paid about 2 months ago, and we even sent a recieve to Bogota and Mississauga, but she VO told my wife that nothing was showing in the system, that she needed to call me and sent the receipe that I paid online to a fax number that she the VO gave us to sent it right away, and once that was done and confirmed the case should be finalized in about 3 weeks, she told me wife that they were about to close the application but because this situation it was being delayed, I sent the receipe and another page they asked me to write, saying that the RPRF was paid and Bogota and they wanted to close the case but they needed the payment processed.

I knew something was wrong because our case was pretty straight forward and now knowing this I can say that you think everything is in place but actually is not ....so here is the update and to pay more attention to the details that I was being ignoring...

ok good luck guys...

Well buddy,

I hope everything works out well,

We have never received a call before from bogota, but were keeping our fingers crossed to hear something soon.

We paid the RPRF at the very beginning back in July or maybe even June. They never requested anything from us besides the passport in february.

Anyway, good luck again.

Thanks man, let me tell you a good thing about this forum, is that you know people that are in your same shoes....a least from Bogota office......which is our processing center..

With this situation today I don't know what to expect from CIC, I just hope we don't have to deal with more delays anymore....

I know there is good news for all of us very soon .....

Good luck
