BLS application status meaning?

I applied for PCC from BLS last week and when I tracked my status online it said Application Received (or something like this)

Today, all of a sudden my status was changed to Application Status - In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre

Does anyone know what does this mean? I am worried because it never said Under Process or Sent to Consulate General...

Does this mean I am getting my PCC soon ? (which I didn't expect to be so soooooon)

one of my friend got the status similar to this that means your PCC processed from indian consulate and sent to BLS.

Seems BLS is working quick now a days....

My friend came to this state with in 1 working week or so...

same here, I applied my PCC on Dec 30 (last Monday) it's just one week and that's why I couldn't believe it. ;D

So your friend who had the similar status message - how soon he got his PCC?

He is seeing same message which you are seeing....

He applied some where after 24th dec not sure of exact date....

But he attached old PCC's along with his application.

So you saying that he didn't receive the PCC yet but he is seeing the same status message as me? and he applied close to Dec 24th?

You will receive PCC from BLS within 3 days with that status..

I applied three days before, however it is showing `No Record Found`` . After how many days it show up in tracking record.

TRY again because as soon as I came back home after applying, I could see my application for PCC on the tracking page. Select Passport Application, enter you Reference number and then enter your DOB..

I think I got lucky with this.. I thought it would be atleast 3 months before I see any update on the BLS website. I've heard many scary stories about PCC..

Can you help me How to track the PCC application

I put Walkin application in submission type coz i applied at the BLS canada office, then i put passport application in application type then reference number then DOB the security code

Whenever I tried to track my PCC application which I applied of Feb 27, 2014- It keeps saying "Kindly Enter Valid Security Code"

Hi All,

I am openning this old thread to know -

1) If there is anyone who has applied for PCC from BLS and got there PCC, Passport & work permit within 21 days(as suggested by them).

2) My current status while tracking online shows as - Processing at Consulate General. How much time will it take from here?

Can anyone help me in this regards - who have already went through this process
