We (my wife and I) have an e-mail blank between May 2008 and January 2009. I have some chat logs from that period! Is it ok? Will they see it or do I have to show them where to look in the proofs?
I have a similar problem with missing my msn chat log for a year but I have emails for that time. It has been suggested to me that I submit whatever I have with a letter of explaination for the missing chat logs.
I would think this would be the best route for you as well. Others might have something else to suggest though.
Yeah well I was thinking the same. Here is the story a little
We were online friends but then I started dating a girl here and she went back with her ex for a couple months. That's when we got distanced ...but then I broke up with my girlfriend in November (started dating in june) and she broke up too with her boyfriend in November...so in january we started chatting back.....
do you guys think this is a good reason to tell immigration?

I don't think I would get into that much detail. If the actual relationship really began in Jan 2009 then just start with that. You could possibly mention that you were friends from such and such a date before but a romantic relationship leading to marriage began in Jan 2009 from what you are describing here so you are not really missing anything that important in that case I would think.
Just a personal opinion, someone else might think differently ;D
Don't mention in so much detail about each other's ex-es! You have enough proof from when you first started being romantic, so the previous emails and chats are just to show that you were in contact back then. I wouldn't say anything about the gap.
Yeah, that was about 1 year before we actually met for the first time in August 2009. We started having an official relation in december 2009 and got married last September!!!!!!!
Ok, so Instead of starting a new thread, I will ask my question right here.
I asked my parents to provided notarized letters about the genuine status of the relationship with my wife. Should I include a letter of her parents too? It's more complicated because I would have to make it translated officially? Or it alright with just my parents?

Hee hee
It won't, really. I got a whole bunch of letters from my family, and translated them myself from Spanish to English. I think that adding more letters will actually add more "weight", not the fact that it's an officially translated letter. As long as it's translated you'll be fine.
I saved on the DHL by asking everyone to scan their signed letters and send them to me. I read some people sent printed emails of support - no signature!
No, sir. The letters I got from my family are personal. They're not even addressed to CIC.
It will be no use for you. Just ask your family to write something personal, how they feel, what they wish for you and your marriage, your future, etc.
Ask them to mention how long they've known your wifey for, that she's a good girl, etc etc etc.
