Birth Certificate Affidavit ; Parents in India

Hi All,

I am in the process of applying for FSWP. I do not have my birth certificate (it is lost). I am thinking of getting an affidavit done for the same (I cannot use 10th class marksheet as it does not have my parents name).
However I am in the US and my parents are in India. Do you know if it will be possible for my parents to get an affidavit made in India? Or will have get it made here?

They can make it in India thro Notary Public.
